DUGAS Pressurised Propane Spheres
Two pressurised propane storage spheres to ASME Section VIII Div. 2, delivered by Cylingas as main EPC contractor — design, detail engineering, procurement, fabrication, erection, testing, painting and commissioning.
The project
For Dubai Natural Gas at Jebel Ali, Cylingas delivered the complete EPC as main contractor: design, procurement, fabrication, erection, testing, painting, pre-commissioning and commissioning of two propane storage spheres and the in-plant piping around them.
The scope
Two Ø 21 m spheres with 63 mm walls, 950 tonnes each and 4,500 MT total water capacity, operating at 21.5 bar(g), built to ASME Section VIII Div. 2. In-plant carbon steel piping to ASME B31.3 — 20,000 inch-dia, from ½" to 20", seamless Sch. STD to Sch. 160.
